Harsh Varma joined Gracie Point in 2017 as Head of Capital Markets. In this role, he directs the firm’s capital markets activities, including managing securitizations and warehouse credit facilities and optimizing balance sheet resources. He is also responsible for cultivating and maintaining key relationships with banks, investors, and rating agencies. Mr. Varma is a member of Gracie Point’s Operating Committee.

Mr. Varma is a seasoned leader and his career spans leadership positions at investment banks, private equity firms, and advisory boards. Prior to joining Gracie Point, he was Managing Director at Imperial Capital where he was responsible for setting up the firm’s investment banking operations in London. He has served as a Non-Executive Advisor and a member of the Investment Committee at Dolma Impact Fund, a private equity fund dedicated to supporting growth stage enterprises and renewable energy projects in Nepal.

He previously served as Head of Investments at Pragati India Fund Limited, a private equity firm focused on investing in early and growth-stage companies in India. Prior to Pragati, he was a senior investment banker at UBS Investment Bank and JP Morgan. Mr. Varma started his career at Bell Labs.

Mr. Varma is an electrical engineer by training and holds an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
